Song Saa Island, Cambodia

A truly beautiful island. Song Saa makes for a great break following a few days visiting the many temples outside Siem Reap. We travelled with our young girls and stayed for 3 nights travelling on the excellent new connecting flight from Siem Reap direct to Sihanoukville on Cambodia Angkor Air (50 minutes).

Ocean Villa Song Saa

We enjoyed many lazy hours in the pool and beach deck.

Experience one of Cambodia’s few luxury island resorts off the coast of Koh Rong in the Gulf of Thailand.

Pool villas offer an outdoor lounging area and, obviously, a private pool. The interior design is very well executed.

Indoors, rooms are comfortable and exotic.

Destination Dining is one of the special features of the resort with tables set up in private areas around the beach and jetties affording the best views of the beautiful sunsets over the nearby stilted fishing village.

There are few prettier places in the world to take a bath. (This is one of the Jungle Villa bathrooms)

Amansara, Cambodia

Siem Reap is a short taxi ride from Angkor Wat, the formerly lost buddhist temple complex and national symbol of Cambodia.

Amansara offers groundbreaking modern design as one of the leading luxury hotels in Cambodia.

Enjoy a relaxing drink on the roof terrace.

Or sit out on the veranda of your suite.
